I am not a big fan of urban fantasy/ paranormal romance books that have the "perfect happy ending". Which is one (of many)reasons I liked this book. Too often you read a book where the situations are impossible and the characters are flawed yet the author still finds some ridiculous way to make everything work out for everyone in the end. Without giving away anything....this is not what you will get with this book.While reading through, I thought that a few characters could have been more endearing. However, after finishing it I don't think the story would have worked as well if they were. Though, I think some could have been better developed, this maybe would have helped the romance to be more believable. I needed more from Seth (maybe that's just the inner teenage girl in me talking). All in all I liked it and look forward to reading Tommy Nightmare.
